Web Filter for Google searches?

#1

We have a Balance One with all the web filtering boxes checked. Everything is being blocked as expected. However, if I perform a Google search for “xxx” the result returns a bunch of graphic images. When I try to click on any of the links the filter works and blocks the user from going to the actual site.
Am I missing something? Or is this a loophole in the way Peplink web filtering works because the web browser is not actually going to any filtered content because you are still technically on Google’s domain?

@twomack

You are right :sunglasses:, If you search using google search engine, technically you still on Google’s domain.

Web Blocking only block base on the actual URL that you are browsing.

You should consider turn on google safe search in your browser to block explicit results:

or youtube .com to restrict. youtube .com or restrictmoderate. youtube .com whit its dns
