WAN 3 dns problem

hello support

one of client bought a balance 30 and one month old the problem is wont resolved DNS even static or dynamic, could be a bug??

If you set the health check to use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for the dns check does the wan pass the heath check?

If so then using a PC can you query DNS on 192.168.254.254 address?

On windows you could go to cmd > nslookup > server 192.168.254.254 > www.google.com

If it works then you should get a response like:

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: www.google.com
Addresses: 2a00:1450:4009:80a::2004
172.217.23.36

hello

if i use 255.255 it same problem now im confuse because in WAN2 using 255.255 / 8.8 works fine

I would suggest raising a ticket so that we can take a closer look at the device. Could you email support@peplink.com including a description of the issue, the serial number of the device and a diagnostic file please.

you can get the diagnostic by going to the status page and choosing to download the diagnostic.
