Is there a way to set up a VLAN that does not need DNS?
We have 3 peplink devices set up in star config. One head peplink is connected to an access control server and the two remote are access control panels.
The access control server must use 10.100.30.78 and 10.100.30.79 for DNS because it is pointing to a local domain server for the access control platform.
Is there a way to create a “simple” VLAN between these that will only require IP and subnet?

Not sure I understand the topology from your description but you don’t need to assgn DNS servers at all in DHCP settings on a VLAN/subnet on a Peplink device. Or you could set them all to the private ones above.
Maybe a sketch would help?
Hi Martin,
Here is the topology. All devices are static with DHCP off. I’m basically trying to create a scenario where the devices can communicate as if they’re local in a switch. We’ve used P2P radios in the past (think ubiquiti) to create a “bridge” between them so they can communicate as if theyre connected directly.
The remote access control panels don’t have an option to assign DNS.
