VLAN Pepwave Surf Soho with Netgear GS105Ev2

Hi,

I have a pepwave surf Soho Router, where i made some VLAN section. I wanna have my NAS on my private network, but the tv and media box on a different network.
Is it possible or do i something wrong?
I made a pdf but i cant load it up yet as i am a new user.

On LAN 1 I put the Netgear switch. On port 1 of that switch is my NAS. On port 2 TV and 3 Media Box.

Pepwave
LAN VLAN Network
Private None 10.120.10.XXX
Guest 2 10.121.10.XXX
Other 3 10.122.10.XXX

Netgear

VLAN 1 port 1, 4 and 5
VLAN 3 port 2 and 3

Greetings

Stefan

There aren’t enough details for me to comment on your configuration. However, here are some details for you to review for your Surf Soho configuration:

To enable VLAN’s: Network->LAN Network Settings, then click on the “?” in the up right hand corner of the IP Address.

Then click on New Lan to add VLAN’s:

Add VLAN1, VLAN ID 1, disable Inter-VLAN routing, IP Address, 10.121.10.1

Add VLAN3, VLAN ID 3, disable Inter-VLAN routing, IP Address, 10.122.10.1

Network->Ports
LAN Port 1, Trunk, Custom with VLAN1 and VLAN3

Here is a sample of what you need on a Netgear 8 port switch which I configured in the past which may be running earlier firmware than your 5 port switch:

port 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
vlan1 U _ _ U U _ _ T
vlan3 _ U U _ _ _ _ T

Note: You will likely want Ingress enabled (filter non-matching frames).

Hope this helps.
