Several attempts in, it appears that Verizon ( with a paid static IP address) is not allowing traffic in a specified forwarded port. In fact, all ports are reported as closed using a standard port scanning software system. Can anyone tell me if they think this is a Verizon issue or on the BR-1 side of the equation? Using this to try to get FOSCAM cams connected to forwarding images to external website. THANK YOU.
As long as you have a true static IP this should be working, I’ve never heard of VZW blocking anything on a static IP. I would double check that the ports are correct and the forwarding rules are configured properly as well as any firewall rules that could be blocking it.
