Hello! I’m currently running a B One and a AP One AX Lite connected by an ethernet to one of the ports on the B One. I need to add a second AP One AX Lite to improve coverage but don’t have any open ports on the B One. Am I able to use a unmanaged network switch to accomplish this without any issues?
Yep, any gigabit switch will work for what you need. Just remember that a 5 port only adds 3 ports more and an 8 port adds 6 more since you are tying up 1 port on each device, plan for any future needs.
If it simplifies wiring, a switch that supports power over ethernet protocol 802.3at will also power both your AP One devices using just the ethernet wire too.
