Username or Password length limit?

Is there a limit on username or password length?
I created a fusionhub
I then set reaedonly and admin username and password to 50 characters long
Hit apply and it said changes applied.
Then updated firmware to 8.5.0
Now can’t login as either admin or readonly usernames.
Wondering if there is a username or password limit coming into play here?

OK, found an older post about pw limited to 32 chars. That limit is no longer in place, but I tried it just for the heck of it on the username and that was it.

Username is still limited to 32 characters. If you enter a longer username, the web UI will accept it and say applied, but you have to remove the characters after 32 to login.
