Additional information: It worked before the update (when it was 8.2.1)

I have the same issue.
Ethernet to USB 3 adapter does not work after firmware update.
Can I go back to previous version of firmware?

I would recommend you submit a ticket on this as it is something they’ll want to take a look at. I don’t think this support was intentionally discontinued with 8.3.0. I’d reference this thread, turn on RA and submit a diag report downloaded while the event is occurring.

Our lab device seems working fine in firmware 8.3.0, with this USB 3.0 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter.
As suggested by @Rick-DC, please submit a ticket (with the USB-Ethernet adapter connected) and download a diagnostic report (in firmware 8.2.1 & 8.3.0) for us to verify the device condition. Do quote this post in the ticket too, as a reference.
