I’m no expert, so please forgive me if this is a stupid question. I currently have Peplink Balance 20L router which is hooked up to my cable modem (through WAN 1) on one side and a Cisco gigabit switch on the other. This morning I got a backup DSL line from my phone company installed, using a Westell 7500 modem. I connected the modem to WAN 2, and went in to the Peplink config to see if it was working. Of course it wasn’t. Using the setup wizard, I set WAN 2 as DHCP, but when I got back to the main screen, it says that WAN 2 is “connecting” but never connects or receives an IP. Are there some configuration changes I need to make to the modem to accomplish this?
