I enjoy the capability of my Balance 30 emailing me when any of the WAN connections lose connection.
However, the router is a little too sensitive. It is not uncommon for me to receive 10+ emails in a day, due to one of my WAN connections being “slightly flaky,” and regularly dropping.
The router time stamps inside the emails will usually show a downtime of only about 20 seconds. For the month of March, 2012, I have already received 70 emails.
If there was a selectable threshold, such as don’t email until a WAN connection has been down for 2 minutes, it would greatly decrease the amount of emails I receive.
Thank you,
Rob
