Anybody recommend the best firmware for the SOHO?
DD-WRT, OpenWRT, and Tomato or the updated Peplink that came with the router?

Stick with the OEM firmware. It works fine.
We’ve used the others you mentioned on less capable devices (e.g., older Linksys boxes) and some of that firmware is marvelous. But, what will it do for you that the OEM SOHO FW won’t?
