Surf wireless issues - new setup

Recently updated the firmware to 7.1.0. Was the only way I could get the wireless net to show in my Win10 machines.

Brought the Surf to my cottage along with a new Novatel USB 4G modem. Before I left, I had this working perfectly with an older Dell using the wireless connection.

First time at the cottage, I get a 4g connection, no problem. However, the Pepwave wireless is not visible by either the Dell or a brand new HP Spectre. I’ve reset the Surf to factory settings and the wireless does not come back. I am able to connect using the ethernet connection (LAN).

Only changes to the setup was changing the admin name/password, and making sure the 4G modem has priority (I don’t have any other WAN modem).

Appreciate any thoughts - I really need this setup to work so I can get some work done while at the cottage.

Solution found. I didn’t realize that setting up InControl would wipe out the wireless config in the router. Removing that option allowed me to setup the wireless AP with a new SSID. All is well…
