Surf OTG Compatability with FW 7 & 8

I have a few of the old HW2 & 3 Surf OTG boxes deployed as PepVPN nodes in remote, inaccessible, locations connecting back to a Balance 20 still running 6.1 firmware. The OTG’s are running latest available firmware.

Can I upgrade to firmware 7 or 8 on the Balance 20 while maintaining my PepVPN connections? I haven’t been able to find anything about what the equivalent FW level the OTG’s are running.

If you are running SOTG firmware 1.1.1, it should able to establish the PepVPN with Balance/MAX with firmware 8.0.x, we have just done a quick test to verify that.
