Surf on the Go and Iphone hotspot

We just purchased our Pepwave surf on the go. Any chance in the future it will work with iphone as a hotspot? or is there any other way to make it work with the SOTG(Surf on the Go)?

My wife’s Samsung galaxy hotspot works great with the SOTG. I create the Hotspot and connect as wifi on the SOTG and it works perfect. But I try and do the same on the Iphone and it doesn’t see it’s wifi hotspot on the SOTG.

Suspect it can be related to the Iphone WIFI hotspot issue:

  1. Iphone WIFI hotspot will broadcast base on the Iphone name. Try to changed it to a simple name without special character or symbols.

  2. WIFI hotspot auto fall back to save phone battery.
