storing pepwave devices powered off?

Do pepwave devices such as a br1, br1 mini, or max transit have a battery that will go dead if the device is stored for a long time powered off?

I think the transit does ,and most of the larger balance series does.
I think it’s a realtime clock battery.

I remember reading a thread a long time back about someone’s bios battery going dead in one of the larger balance routers and it being then unable to run and I believe it was locked so they couldn’t enter the configuration again to make it boot. I don’t know if I remember this correctly, so I’m wondering if I should store some unused devices plugged in so they don’t become inoperable?
