Standby Remote Switch on off

Hello there
I wanted to ask if would be possible to build in a standby option for the routers.
Would be great to switch on off the router wireless to safe energy on a vessel for example. Switch on for example throught the webaccount. Furthermore it would be also great to have for example one or two power relays built in to switch on off other features, for example lights.
If all would be compined in a router it would be just great.

Low Power / Standby Mode for MAX TRANSIT and HD series

We’re doing more and more autonomous and remotely monitored, driven, managed vehicle projects where I’m really missing a low power mode. What I want is to be able to put a MAX into a sleep / standby mode, so that when the vehicle is not being used, the least amount of power is being consumed and then when something triggers it again (locally via I/O header or remotely via SMS) the MAX returns to full speed again. I know there are more GPIOs being added to new MAX HD models, not sure that we’ll see relays built into the router itself though, but personally that suits me as I can use the right relays for the job in question each time if they are external.
