I would like to confirm if I need to purchase anything else to enable SpeedFusion between two sites.
I currently own:
2x 580X (Site A)
2x 710 (Site B)
I saw there’s license required and also something called FusionHub (not too sure if it’s required).
Please help.
Both the 580X and the 710 come with included SpeedFusion licensing to connect to remote peers (50 & 300 peers respectively).
You don’t need to use a FusionHub that is just a way to have a hub in the cloud.
You can either setup your devices in hub and spoke or fully meshed.
Just make sure all devices are using the latest firmware.
Thank you for the explanation. Just one more question. I noticed 580X rated at 4Gbps but on SpeedFusion it’s 500Mbps. So is my combined WAN throughput of 4Gbps will shrink to 500Mbps if SpeedFusion is turned on or they operate independently?
You can choose what traffic to send over the bonded WAN connection and also send traffic direct to the internet outside of the bonding at the same time. it is controlled using outbound policies.
