Such a basic question… everything has been working great and then I changed the router to https and now get the error “unable to connect”. I added https://and still nothing. I have shut off all addons in Firefox, rebooted, etc. I did see a thread on this being a certificate issue from a 2016 post, but still don’t understand… Sorry for such a basic question.
Try more than one web browser.
Try to ping the routers IP address
Look at the ethernet ports on your router and computer. They LEDs should be blinking to indicate some data is moving.
Are you sure that you changed NOTHING else? I ask because changing the port number would result in this error. So too would changing the routers IP address.
