SOHO..AP will not accept password

Have new soho mk3…set 2 AP one for 2g and one for 2g. Passwords for both are the same

When trying to connect to the 2g ap I get “incorrect password for…”. I have checked passwords and reinterred them…I deleted the ap and set new one which worked for a few times and then same problem.

This is using iPad to connect. AP 5g will work…

Help…I need the 2g for a couple devices that do not support 5g

I have tried my iPhone…same issue so must be soho problem…

This is not a known bug / fault that I’m aware of.
Try using a chrome browser in incognito mode and check your CAPS lock num lock etc when entering the password (or type in once and copy and paste it).

Hi,
to understand it correct.
You have a Problem with the Password of the 2,4GHz SSID, right? Not with the Webinterface?

Yes, but upgrade to 8 seems to have fixed it
Thanks

By any chance do you have WPA2 Enterprise setup for any of the SSIDs?

I have a similar type of problem with firmware 7.1.x on my Balance One router: the WPA2 Enterprise (with radius) sometimes works and sometimes it doesn’t. This is random, no apparent cause. I am using iPhone and MacBook Pro wifi clients, same result.

Strange thing is that the secret key to the Radius server is configured the same as for the WebAdmin page where it just works 100% of the time!

Did not look if this could be WiFi band-related though.

Upgrading to firmware 8.0.0 solved the WPA2 Enterprise issue completely.
