SNMP MIB and Performance Metrics for SD Switches

Hi,

I would like to request that Peplink create an SNMP MIB for the SD-Switch’s and an update to the Web user interface to show port performance like throughput, and port errors. These are really nice switches that perform very well, but they lack the performance metrics that are required and that are pretty much standard on all other enterprise switches. The lack of the SNMP MIB eliminates the possibility of us selling these switches to corporates clients as most all of them require SNMP monitoring.

Summary:

  1. Add additional Metrics to the SD-Switches to monitor port performance such as speed, throughput and error rates.
  2. Update the web Interface on the SD-Switches to show and report on all port performance metrics.
  3. Update the reports for InControl2 for the SD-Switches to report on all port performance metrics.
  4. Provide an SNMP MIB for the SD Switches so 3rd party Network Management Systems can monitor switch and port performance.
