I have a pepwave router on a boat and travel between EU countries. In each new country, I need a new SIM and have to reset the APN settings to that particular SIM. This has been working successfully. I have been disabling the SIM pin. However, having arrived in Italy and bought a vodafone sim card I am having issues. On the dash’board it is showing the sim card as ‘undetected (in use)’
I have clicked on details and have gone to the APN and entered mobile.vodafone.it .
However, when I click on pin details to try and disable the pin, it now says ‘Sim Blocked’ and won’t let me change the settings. I had not changed them since the last sim card in Albania and so they should still be set as disable pin.
In Montenegro, there was an issue with the healthcheck. I had therefore disabled this and it seemed to work. Could this be the issue? I have now turned the healthcheck on again and put to DNS. It has not resolved the issue.
