SDX Pro : SFP and GbE Port Functionality

Hi Peplinks,

In SDX Pro datahsheet , WAN PORT are : 2 SFP+ Port, 2GE Port and 2 USB Port with note : “@ WAN ports are configured as a LAN ports by default, configuration is changeable on the Web Admin”.

my question are :

  1. Can We use this 4 Port ( SFP + GE ) as LAN and or WAN Simultaneously ? Let say 3 Port ( 2SFP +1GE ) for WAN and 1 Port GE for LAN

  2. Any recommendation for Optical converter so we can convert 2 SFP port to 2 additional GE Port ?

  1. Yes, any port can be WAN or LAN.
  2. It’s not very picky, generic SFP modules from Amazon seem to work fine.

I still questioning can we use 4 Port SDX (2 GE port and 2 SFP Port ) simultaneously ?

I got info that we have to chose using 2 GE port or 2 SFP port not all all same time.

Need confirmation from Peplink
