Schedule for auto reboot Peplink 580

Hi Peplink Support,

We are using Peplink 580 for our guest daily with over 200 visitor our WIFI system, sometime we need to reboot the router to refresh. is it possible that we can set schedule to auto reset on Peplink 580 ?

We would like to be set router auto reboot everyday at 3:00AM.

Hi @tigerlily,

Yes this is possible.

From the Device

You can access this feature from the “Support.cgi” page:-

https://192.168.50.1/cgi-bin/MANGA/support.cgi (replace the IP address with the correct one for your router). If you access the device via InControl you will notice the URL contains the word “Index” - remove this word and everything to the right then type Support.cgi and press enter.

From the Support page you will see “Scheduled Reboot”

Click the link to configure the reboot:-

Select Daily from the drop-down list and select the appropriate time (3am)

Click the apply button to save the changes.

Using InControl

If you are using InControl to manage your devices (or for others reading this that do use Incontrol), there is a group setting you can use, called Device System Management:-

Tick the box and then select which device(s) the reboot schedule should be applied to, within the Group:-
