Router Loses Creds after Power Down

While on vacation, I power down my LAN because I can’t monitor who access it. After a five day absence, the router worked fine after I powered it up. I tried to access the admin interface later that day but I got a bad username/password error. I know it was correct because I access the router interface a few times a week. My only recourse was to reset to factory defaults then reinstall my configuration backup. Not a bit deal (down for 10 mins) but annoying.(I don’t use external methods to access the router.)

Is this a known bug or do I have to reinstall the backup configuration if I power down the router for more than a day or so?

This is not a bug and we never received this kind of problem. You may proceed the steps below if the problem happens in future to isolate the problem.

  1. Try to login the Pepwave device with another browser.

  2. Try to login the Pepwave device with default username and password. SOHO = admin/admin, AP = admin/public.

I found my error and corrected it. It was not the router. Thank you for your response.
