Hi,
Will there be any replacement for the device connector series?
maybe alternative firmware for existing APs?
Would love to be able to have a device connector rugged with wifi6 to be able to connect cameras etc that have no wifi or bad wifi build in.
thanks
Mesh functionality replaces this I think? So any current AP can be used with Mesh enabled to achieve this. Have not tested this myself, as we mainly use other brand for Wifi than Peplink. But Mesh was added some time ago to all Wifi 5/6 models.

Thanks for your reply
I thought the same thing, but the mesh turns off when I connect the ethernet cable to a device, because it thinks I have connected a WAN to the AP
Hi,
have a look here. There is no replacement of a device connector yet

and how do you connect to a public wifi while using mesh?
Mesh is not suitable for that no. You can use any Peplink with Wifi WAN function. Recently added to Balance 20X with FW 8.3.0 .
Maybe Peplink will be able to add that kind of function to an AP in router mode to solve this?
