Remote User Access cant connect to remote printer / server / iMac

Router: Peplink Balance One
Firmware: 7.1.1

I have successfully connected my iMac running Mac OS 10.13.6 using the LT2P / IPsec protocol.

Tech support told me that I should be able to connect to all the remote assets on the other side. But when I scan the network or try to ping an IP address that I know if available on the other network there is nothing.

What setting am I missing?

When you connect to the Peplink via L2TP, can you ping the LAN IP address?

That’s a bit of a challenge as we both are on the same IP address range. Is there anything else I can do before changing my office network setup?

That’s most likely why you are having issues pinging. I would advise changing the IP address on either the local network or the remote local network.
