Any update on how to remotely do a speed test on a BR1? I see post form years ago but no update on if this was ever implemented.
Example, I would like to do an up/down speed test on the cellular WAN of BR1 remotely. Either in IC2 or in the web gui of the device.
Hi Jacob. The speedtest was implemented quite some time ago. It is a superior way to test “links” between routers. Go to System → Tools → WAN Analysis as shown below. You’ll need a Peplink device on the other end. One is set up as client; the other as server. We use this tool frequently with one of our [free!] SpeedFusion Solo licenses to check on the performance of various WANs.
If you just want to check WAN performance to a “testing site” then you can simply do that from a client on your LAN and set its outbound policy to “enforced.”

Thanks. I was looking for a way to remotely do a simple internet up/down speed test for our BR1’s at customer sites.
