I added all firewall inbound /outbound rules and passtrough is checked but can’t connect with rdp to my pc behind the max br1. and also made the settings in portforwarding. I’m using a range of ports. or is it better to set on a fix port?
thanks, but still no connection with rdp.
Can you also show me an example of the firewall rules please?
unfortunalty we don’t have incontrol
Depending on your mobile provider you may not have a public ip adress because of provider grade NAT.
Are you using cellular or ethernet WAN ?
Theo
cellular with a fix ip address
and we have internet connection, I’m using teamviewer ritght now on a laptop direct behind the max br1
Here are 2 Options for your Firewall rules:
Default settings:
If you prefer a default deny rule:
Check your windows hosts firewall to allow RDP.

I added rules for outbound and inbound with protocol “tcp”
and vpn , source ip fix ip of the server.
remote is allowed on the server
Hi Geert,
i posted a wrong example for deny rule.
To confirm, you have a routable public IP address you can check to enable ssl admin access to your router.
Are you able to access your router from remote ?
Theo
Hi Theo,
no I can’t connect the router from outside
This may mean, you provider hides behind a NAT.
before we could connect remote to the router. but we used incontrol. my client has no contract for incontrol anymore.
Hi Theo,
I’m now able to login with incontrol remote
device is running wel, but still not possible to use rdp
Hi i’ve made a copy of the config. Maybe you can have a look?
Hi Geert,
Connections over remotewebadmin will be initiated by the BR1, thats why you can access it even when the router is behind a provider grade NAT.
Please have a look at the devices dashboard in incontrol. You should find “InControl Detected IP” under the status settings of your cellular wan. Is this IP the same as the IP of Cellular 1 ?
