Randomizing Password in IC2 what if questions

If you do the randomization of the device password in the group device web admin, can you explain the following:

  1. What happens when the Pepwave moves from group to group and the new group does not have a password requirement?

  2. What happens if the device’s IC2 expires and device does not to renew but the it is still listed in IC2? For local troubleshooting, will the password be listed in the downloadable CSV File?

The applied password will be saved on the device and only overwritten if the new group has a group level setting enabled that changes the admin password.

Yes its still in the csv, and you can still click ‘show all’ in device details and view the last password that was pushed by IC2 to the device individually.
