Question About Internet Bonding on Peplink MAX-TST-DUO-LTEA-K-T-PRM

Hi,
I’ve recently purchased a used Peplink MAX-TST-DUO-LTEA-K-T-PRM and I have a question regarding internet bonding.

Could you please let me know what is required for proper bonding functionality on this router?
Specifically, I’d like to know whether any additional services, licenses, or components are needed — such as subscriptions, special configuration, or access to SpeedFusion Cloud (or any other SpeedFusion services).

Thank you in advance for your help.

Licenses:
You have a PrimeCare part (PRM in the SKU) so some features require you to keep the unit under active cover, however as of version 8.5 bonding is available without the PrimeCare being current, though if your device is running older firmware you might need to renew PrimeCare and let it call home to activate it.

PrimeCare also provides a hardware warranty, InControl2 management, support access and also will bundle in some amount of SFC data for your unit depending on how long you renew it for.

SpeedFusion Cloud (now SpeedFusion Connect):
This is Peplinks hosted bonding service with servers located in various countries that you can send your traffic through, if you want to use it you will need to purchase a subscription for it.

If you want to host the bonding side yourself you can use a FusionHub Solo license (free) which allows one peer (prime care parts do not consume a license) and you can host this in a public cloud like Vultr, Digital Ocean, AWS, GCP, Azure etc. for minimal costs (it also gives you direct control of the hub where the bonding happens, so can give more options than SFC).

Plenty of guides on the forum for how to set this up if you look around.
