I just replaced a failing SOHO MK3 router with a new one and copied the existing config over to the new unit. I am running the latest beta 8.1.1 build 4984. After starting up the new new unit, running with the restored config, it kept disconnecting and reconnecting from the cable modem. I think I finally traced it back to having enabled the Health Check settings but not providing any DNS servers(Don’t know why this didn’t always fail on the old one). Image attached.
Shouldn’t the configuration screen prevent me from saving and applying this config since I would think it would always fail but I am just a novice on this stuff and my logic is usually wrong. Just letting you know what I found…
