As of firmware 8.1.1 beta, the AP → Event Log now says
Client MACaddress associated/disassociated from SSID (freq band)
In Status → Client List there is an association between a MAC address and a friendly name. The same or similar association also exists at System → Wake-on-LAN. If this association exists, please add the friendly name to the AP Event Log.
