Performance Counters on support.cgi

What is the frame counter on this page?

Is there a way to track why packets are being dropped on LAN?

Frame counter increased mean CRC failures on receipt of a frame. The root cause of this could be a bad cable, or a bad interface on either the machine or the switch. Try replacing the cable, then moving to another port on the switch.

It is difficult to catch those dropped packets especially there is high traffic volume. Anyway, you can open ticket and we can help to track this.

Thanks.

Thanks TK_Liew. Is there any way to see what packets are being dropped on LAN? I suspect they are packets from a DirecTV DVR for an unknown LAN (169.254.x.x) network. Since I have not defined that LAN in the router, I would suspect that they should be dropped.
