PepVPN over LAN Interface?

Hello,

I’m trying to configure a PepVPN setup between a core Balance 1350 and remote MAX BR1 Pro devices with dual WAN. One WAN is cellular and routes over the public internet, the other WAN is Wi-Fi and routes over an internal network which leads to the Balance 1350’s LAN interface. The Wi-Fi should be higher priority:

  1. Balance 1350 LAN <-----> MAX BR1 Pro Wi-Fi
  2. Balance 1350 WAN <-----> MAX BR1 Pro Cellular

I am able to get the VPN working over Cellular but not Wi-Fi. When set to Wi-Fi only the VPN negotiation starts and gets to “Creating Tunnels…” however it then reports the Wi-Fi WAN link is “Not available - link failure detected” and restarts negotiation. I’ve been unable to find any meaningful log entries which might point to the problem. Is this configuration (PepVPN to a LAN interface) supported on the Balance 1350?

PepVPN is only supported on the WAN interfaces.
