Time is money - whether you agree or not, it is always better to get what you want efficiently. The same goes for connectivity.

While deploying MPLS to new sites can take weeks or months, a combined Peplink and Starlink solution is a way more efficient alternative. And it is robust and resilient enough to support live streaming of crucial events, for example, a nationwide New Year’s countdown.

The leading television network in the Philippines, NET25, used the combination of Peplink and Starlink as a replacement for MPLS. They managed to deliver a flawless live stream for a highly anticipated New Year’s countdown, with extremely low latency and high quality.

If you’re a broadcaster struggling to get reliable, temporary networks in a tight timeframe, this is definitely an option to consider.

Live streaming a show, at its simplest, may only require reliable connectivity for a single application in a single location. But creating next-generation live streams, it’s more challenging. You may want to leverage live production, AR, and VR technologies - each with higher bandwidth and reliability requirements.

Fortunately, a combination of Peplink and Starlink makes even these more challenging tasks easy to accomplish. And this is what we provided when a Japan-based multinational corporation approached Peplink for help in building a next-generation sports arena.

The solution is featured with Peplink’s Balance 2500 EC and BR2 Pro. The Balance 2500 EC combines 2 wired and 2 Starlink connections, while handling the demanding activities happening in the arena with its 30 Gbps throughput.

The BR2 Pro aggregates 2 5G and 2 Starlink connections on each roadshow van sent out to the community, enabling impressive AR/ VR performance and remote access without a public or fixed IP.
