Hi all,
I’m currently working with several Peplink Balance 20X units and I’d like to check if the following setup is possible:
I want to have one Peplink Balance 20X establish SpeedFusion VPN connections to multiple other Balance 20X devices at the same time.
- Is this supported (i.e., one Balance 20X acting as a hub connected to several peers)?
- If yes, is there any way to bind each VPN connection to a specific LAN segment?
Here’s the reason for this question:
Some of the remote sites have identical LAN subnets (e.g., 192.168.1.0/24), which causes routing conflicts when all VPNs are up.
I’d prefer not to change the existing LANs, since I only need VPN access to a specific subnet that doesn’t overlap with the others.
So my question is:
- Can I create a dedicated LAN/VLAN just for VPN use, so that this dedicated subnet can be used for routing without conflict?
- Or is there another recommended way to avoid LAN conflicts in multi-site SpeedFusion setups using Balance 20X devices?
Any configuration example or best practice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance.
