Peplink Partner Tactical Wireless Jointly Develops Mobile Communications Backpack With Kent Air Ambulance Using Their Award-Winning Omni-Hub

Peplink partner to develop innovative backpack version of Award winning universal sensor and communications hub for air ambulance crews

Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance Trust (KSSA) and Tactical Wireless Ltd (TWL) have reached an agreement for the joint development of a backpack-mounted version of TWL’s award winning Omni-Hub™ multi-mode communications system.
The backpack-mounted Omni-Hub™ will provide paramedics with high quality video, audio and medical data links to and from KSSA’s control centre at Marden, Kent. The backpack Omni-Hub™ will operate for up to 8 hours per day using on-board battery packs.
