My cable provider recently gave me a public IP and mapped it to the Mac address of the Peplink which actually seems to speed things up rather than going thru their EERO’s
When I let Peplink give out the DHCP addresses all machines work great, except for DNS - and communications on the internal network with printers and between machines.
So I switched it back to Windows 2019 server DHCP. Now I am having trouble getting to the internet - machines dropping periodically. I know Windows likes to be large and in charge. I did not have this problem with the EERO’s. But the speed was definitely slower, especially on the hardwired machines. I have the EERO set to Bridge mode, but it does not seem to be working well either.
Any thoughts?
Kind regards,
Debbie
