Peplink Balance - DualSIM - Failover if failed

Hi!

It’s great to be able to insert two SIM-cards e.g. in Peplink Balance 20X devices, but my main goal would be to be able to fail over to the second SIM if the first SIM has issues (provider routing problems).

Is there any possibility to setup:

  • Failover to SIM B if WAN-health-check failed?

Yes. That is default behaviour in reaction to repeated healthcheck failure on SIM A, the modem with reset and use SIM B.

Is there any “logic” about the condition, where a failover happens? Is it just after the healthcheck-failure?
