What does this option actually do?

I have a BGP peering relationship between a Peplink Balance and a Juniper SRX300 and Cisco ASA. Neither of these devices are receiving routes on BGP that the Balance receives on OSPF.

My assumption is that this commands redistributes OSPF routes into BGP, but it doesn’t seem to actually work if that’s the case.

Below this option there’s an option to explicitly export BGP into OSPF. So I’m further confused by the word soup here. There’s no similar option under OSPF configuration either to export to BGP.

Running firmware 7.1.2 build 4094.

Hi, “Advertise OSPF Route” is used to export OSPF routes to BGP, “Export to OSPF” is used to export BGP routes to OSPF. Please open a support ticket here for the team to check if it doesn’t work in your case.
