Peplink App issue

So I got the marketing email for the peplink app yesterday and decided to give it a try.

My set up is a Max Transit Duo Pro with 5 WAN connections 3 of which I set as Priority 1 and bond over SFC these are Starlink ethernet and bypassed starlink router and two WiFi as WAN connections one each on 2.4 and 5 Ghz. The remaining two connections are cellular one on each modem and were both set as Priority 2.

My router is managed in the group that my dealer has in InControl. I asked them to set my router to be managed in the APP which they did.

The app appears to override connection priorities set on the local admin or remote web admin through InControl. I had my Starlink and two WiFi as WAN connections set at priority 1 bonding over SFC and my two cellular connection as priority 2.

The app has set all WAN connections to priority 1 and if I change them in either the local admin page or remote web admin in InControl they are reverted within a few seconds. There also does not appear to be a way to set WAN connection priority in the app. The two Cell data (Verizon surprisingly) connections are pretty bad here which is why I had them as priority 2.

I disabled both the Cell connections and that stuck but not how I want it configured.

This behavior may only effect the cell connections. I moved the two WiFi as WAN connections to priority 2 via local admin page and they stayed there.

I have asked my dealer to revert the management with the APP until this gets sorted at least.

Is this expected behavior? Should the APP override changes made on the local admin page and InControl remote web admin?

Thanks

I experienced basically the same behavior on my B20X. In my case my cell connection is pay-as-you-go, since it’s intended only as a backup to redundant WANs (Priority 1) so I woke up this morning with a nice surprise of a quite large phone bill. I have also disabled app control from InControl until this is resolved and I’m pretty concerned about the financial impact considering this was a widely marketed release not a beta test or similar.
