Does any body knows if the Peplink balance 2500-2SFP suport 1 G SFP?
In other words, dos the SFP ports works at 1Gbps speed

The SFP ports on the 2500 should be able to support a 1 G SFP.

You can find a list of compatible dual rate SFP+ modules here that have been tested.

We just want to be surest if we connect the 2500 to a 1 G switch it will work with no problems.

We have a list of tested modules, as Ron pointed out. Are you looking to use a copper SFP connector or the fiber?

The Customer request is to connect 1G SR FO, must likely on the Switch side we will have Cisco equipment.
