Password rules?

New user, logged into InControl using assigned password.

Now, trying to change a password. But I get the reply back “Invalid Password”. But, there is no ? or button to see what the rules are which I broke, that make my password invalid.

What are the password rules? Length? Special Characters? Numbers? Capital letter?

I’d rather not just guess as to what the rules are. I was unable to find a discussion using search.

Hi Bill2,

The password needs 10 characters, no special characters are necessary but you can use them. It does require at least one number, one upper case letter, and one lower case letter.

Good to have rules. Better yet, if the rules are written down somewhere :slight_smile:
