For a Balance 20:

  1. Is WAN balancing done separately for download and upload?

WAN1: ADSL 10/2 mbit
WAN2: 4G 50/20 mbit

One line in our case is an ADSL line which is blocked for download when fully utilized for upload. Therefore max. utilization of upload on WAN1 should cause the Overflow algorithm to allocate downloads as well as uploads to WAN2. Otherwise the overflow algortihm isn’t solving our problem.

  1. We have a bandwith allowance configured for WAN2. Is there anywhere the status of this can be inspected. Can the accumulated data volume be seen anywhere? (It seems that the counters under “Status” do not follow the same monthly cycle).
