Does Peplink Balance 380 Load Balancer do the below…

Merge my two cable modems (same ISP) 300/20 and 300/20 into a single 600/40 connection?

Or do I need another type of service to bond the two connections together?

Essentially I’m looking to make sure I get max upload from my setup.

I’ll likely tie in another router in front of the Peplink device to handle the rest of the DHCP requests.

Hi Chavenor:

In and of itself, the Balance 380 doesn’t aggregate/bond the connections together. You’ll instead “spread out” between the connections and are able to use them both equally (on a per session basis. To bond you’d need to implement SpeedFusion between 2x Peplink units.

That should work – I have 3 video cameras that I can probably split between the WANs so one doesn’t get over run and I still get high quality streaming.
