It’s been 100 years since I last setup a Peplink device. The surf Soho. I have a good customer of mine who just ordered two One B 5g devices. One each for different tour busses. They plan on doing 5g and Starlink for wan…
They ordered the ones with data.
I just want to get a few things clear in my mind, I’m not familiar (yet) with SpeedFusion and InControl.
Is SpeedFusion a required subscription to bond the 5g and Starlink together? They don’t need a VPN, they don’t need to connect from bus to bus. I assume I’ll be presented with this option during setup. Avoiding subscriptions is desired when possible. If they need to pay to bond, or load balance, I assume I can just do fail over from Starlink to 5g without subscription?
It looks like InControl is for monitoring/management. Is this also for management if the 5g data plan? I just installed it, routers will be here in a few hours so I can get familiar when I set things up.
Thanks
