NAT table timeout/ttl/time-to-live values for UDP and TCP connections

#1

A search for “nat udp seconds site:peplink.com” does not return any clues for how long entries are kept in the NAT table for UDP connections.

Would Peplink please specify the NAT table TTL for both UDP and TCP connection entries?

Thanks for the feature request. Any particular application for viewing the TCP/UDP session TTL values on the NAT table? On top of my head this is probably of value diagnosing/troubleshooting.

For UDP = SIP traffic (in which interval to send a keep alive message to keep the connection open, by not dropping the translation from the table)

For TCP = Mobile devices keeping a link open with Exchange (or compatible services) for push mail to arrive directly. In other words this here the Exchange server needs to be configured to supply the correct keep alive interval for (mobile) connected push clients.
