Mounting MAX HD2 unit using grip equipment

Hi, I will be renting and using the MAX HD2 in a photography production environment (on set, as we say). I’m looking for a good way to add versatility by being able to mount the unit using standard grip gear. To that end, I am trying to figure out the appropriate dimensions for the screw mounting holes on the bottom of the unit. I was surprised that the data sheet doesn’t cover these dimensions.

Does anyone know the dimensions? And has anyone figured out the best adapter or technique to mount a baby pin to the bottom of the unit (see this VESA mount for an example of what I’m going for).

I ended up building a frame out extruded aluminum - its out now, but I’ll grab a picture of the 5/8" mount underneath.
