MOST Problem with peplink is about SMTP dropping

Hi,

I have read a lot of error here on your forum regarding SMTP latency problem. we also encounter it now. when we are testing the incoming packets the SMTP packets shows a lot of delays that causes the TCP session close in 5 - 7 minutes. LB harden TCP traffic overheads in an effort to stop all potential high bandwidth traffic.

Is there a work around for this kind of happening?

  1. Previously SMTP working fine ? Any changes make for the device recently ? (Latency can be cause by other influences)

  2. The issue happen all the times ? or intermittent

  3. Please provide also your testing info for the SMTP connection:

  • Packet capture for the SMTP connections
  • Others
  1. Can you explain the description given in previous post ?
