I was curious if there is a way to measure RSSI externally, without logging into the device as a troubleshooting step. I have several modems I have used in the past and they usually had a way to check the signal with a multimeter, typically resistance. Does the BR1 Max Mini have this or another way to measure signal without logging into the device?
Really? How did that work? Did they provide terminals that had variable resistance based on signal strength? So you could mound a LED traffic light thing maybe? That would be cool.
Only way I can think of is by using the InControl2 api (or local device api).
I think one used 2 pins on a serial port. It was nice for field testing. They knew if it was good or not based on the reading. If it was bad, check the antenna
